Italy - a constant immersive experience, on many sensory levels, in which each participating individual acts both as audience and performer.

On every visit, something new discovered.  This time, struck by how many of the figures depicted  in the artwork - which surrounds every activity - seem to reach out and engage with the audience in their own way. Once this quality is lost - and the figures seem simply to be off-and-away, engaged in their own mad activity - then I tend to lose interest.
