Meeting with MAATP Student Representative, first work-in-progress showing by Hongdo, and Horseplay is one year old

While having weekly lunchtime meeting in the Hampstead Theatre with Alicia looked up and was surprised to see a photograph on the wall of one of my own plays.

Time elided for a second, putting me in a receptive mood for the first showing of Hongdo's delicate piece about memory.

A good example of documentation? How can we know what each member of the audience has just seen or heard? The theme continued into the evening, meeting up with some of last year's MAATP students at Horseplay.

Started by MA Advanced Theatre Practice alumnus Rob Drummer,  and other MAATP students last year, their successful venture Horseplay at Proud Galleries is now one year old! Congratulations! Where next?

    Is there then a question that making work in this area, that we could subtly perhaps control the prethoughts of audience members before they actually witness the performance they came to see? The power of the pre-show?
